That was a wonderful race. I'm surprised that Bodemeister broke so quickly and set so many marker records. I'll certainly have another, though!

Yes, I will have another. We had a cookout this evening at our house. My son went to the OTB to place a few bets for us before bringing his family over. Luckily I gave him a few dollars to put on I'll Have Another to win.

The crowd at our party seemed to enjoy my julips made with 1792, and a lot of homegrown mint. I made the mint infusion syrup seperately, so each could mix his/her mint julip according to their own desire and feelings toward bourbon. The kids were given non-alcoholic julips, and they were the only ones to really dislike their drinks.

Made some mint juleps with Old Fitzgerald BiB. Pretty darn tasty.

Hung out with Dridge11 for a bit on Derby day. Tasted through a bunch of good stuff, went to lunch and then came back for some dusty minis.

I enjoyed the day with friends and a bottle of Woodford Reserve neat.
