I was in the Cincinnati area this morning, so I decided to make a run to TPS and pick up the case of TPS own barrel of standard FRSB I had ordered a month ago.
While there I also picked up the new JJB SB, barrel 45. And with all the talk of summer refrigerated bourbon, I jumped on the bandwagon with HH BIB 6yr. I just put it in the frig, so that will be this evenings pour.

I've seen them in several stores throughout the Chicagoland area. The last place was Woodman's in Algonquin, home of the $21.79 OGD 114 and only 8% tax...which is what I came home with. While there I learned I just missed out on what was their abundant supply of 3 Floyd's Dogfish Head and passed on the remaining Robert the Bruce. And a little more thread drift, for the Illinois SB beer drinkers, the Woodman's in Kenosha Ws. carrries Oskar Blues which doesn't have Illinois distribution yet.

Found a bottle of Woodford Reserve Sanoma Cutler buried on the back of a shelf today. They only had one, but its now resting at home on my shelf. Only missing the original masters blend now.
