Thanks to Tico, I had an old faux tax strip ND Bourbon de Luxe show up today. We also sampled a few quick pours while he was here.

How do you like the Bourbon de Luxe? I bought a bottle two weeks ago and am finding it rather enjoyable (my first taste of ND juice).

How much duty did you have to pay to customs, if any?

354 Danish Kroner which is around 60 Dollars. I had one more bottle of white spirits to declare. This might sound like a lot but it's not as some bottlings were gifts and the others were 25-50% of the price they would cost in Denmark. First time I had to pay EVER, but I guess they didn't let me pass as the customs had trainess with them. They were nice and charged everything as it was 40% :-), and I am always a patriot and likes to support my country :-)

(more than I like to support some local importers who are the reason for the high prices here)

I'm really excited about the Weller, but not because of the usual reasons. I'm excited because it appears that it has made it into the state finally through normal wholesale channels. I no longer have to lug multiples of it back from when I travel, I can lug other stuff in it's place!!
