It's possible that what comes through the order might be 2011. The bottles provided for sampling may have come via a different route than the warehoused order stock.

The 2010 GTS is the only one I've had, and is hands down my favorite bourbon. I agree with the recommendations of trying yours first to see if you like it. It normally retails north of $70, but as has been pointed out - each year is different. I bought mine in the summer of 2011 (got lucky that a local shop had one sitting in the back, probably put aside for someone that forgot to pick it up!), and it is just now getting below half full. I reckon that I'll buy a new GTS every other year or so - but the 2010 from what I've read was a particularly great vintage. I would definitely taste yours first to make sure it is your cup of tea (bourbon) first. And if it isn't - let us know and the bidding war will begin![]()
