I don't want to seem rude but I wonder if ETL will continue after, well, Elmer passes in the far, far future?
I would expect that it would continue - if only that we may toast the passing of one of the greats with it on a regular basis (when that sad day comes).

My experience in Indianapolis area, and Bloomington is; ETL is on the shelf sometimes, and missing for spans of time. One time many months after the 90th birthday stuff had totally disapperared, a store suddenly got more in. OWA, and Saz Rye can be the same way. They're out, they get some, then they're out again.
I just had my first local sighting of ETL, but it's $33 - that's a wee too much, isn't it? (I get Blanton's and Rare Breed for that price)
What proof is the Blanton's you're getting for $33? Is it possible that you're getting the 80 proof export version, being in HI?
I guess "give 'em the bird" isn't just a marketing slogan, it's a brand management strategy, too.
No, it's the original and not just at one retailer, either. Plus it's current stock - the bottle I just bought was dumped this year. Export stuff is probably available here at the duty-free store, we have one in Waikiki and at the airport.
