Beam rules in St. Croix!

We are nearing the end of a vacation on St. Croix in the ISVI. Staying at the Buccaneer, terrific family owned resort that I highly recommend. An interesting observation about bourbon on the island. Cruzan Rum is made here, and of course owned by Beam. At every bar we've seen, the only bourbons are Beam products. so far I've had Booker's, KC, M46, and BH. I've inspected the other choices and they include JBW, JBB and MM. No other brands seen anywhere.

Cruzan Rum has been made on STX for hundreds of years and the island is quite proud of it. I guess they are happy to also support Beam via their bourbon. Fine for me as I like most Beam products but interesting to see it.
