I had no idea that the MSRP had gone so high. The last time I bought a bottle it was around 60 bucks somewhere in the mid-west. Guess it's been a long time.

WOW!!! $60 must have been a long time ago. Go back to the store and grab the bottle! (probably sold already)

I keep seeing this bottle of single malt at Sam's Club called Glen Taite which purports to be a 19 year old whisky distilled by Macallan that is bottled by Alexander Murray and Co. of Broxburn, Scotland. The price has decreased over a year or more from $100+ to $62 and my trigger finger is getting itchy but I'm reluctant to drop that kind of dough and be disappointed. (That $62 goes a long way towards replacing the HP18 we recently knocked off and I can't live without.) Any thoughts?

Passed up Pappy today. I just don't think the new 15 is worth $100, nor the 20 worth $160.

I left my name/number with a merchant over a year ago, to call me if he got any VW. He called me out of the blue today and told me he had some ORVW 10/107 and Lot B. After he told me the price of the 10/107 ($69.99), I politely told him it was too much for me but I really appreciated that he called me. Didn't even get the price of the Lot B, as I was more interested in the 10/107. That's just crazy the way the prices are going these days, a real shame.
