Yes, there are many good whiskeys to be had for $80. Taste is subjective and some people don't care for ryes that much. Last year I left a few bottles of WLW on the shelf at $70-$75 - a move many SBers would have backhanded me for. That said, I would trade vital organs for VWFRR!

Saw Woodford Reserve Four Wood for $75 at Costco. Seen it elsewhere for $100.
Friend just texted me, asked if I wanted some Pappy he came across on his travels to Ashville, NC. $120 for a 12 year, $289 for a 20 year. I said thanks but no thanks . . . he passed as well.
