Picked it up in Benson. They had six and I got four of them.

Yeah I've never tasted the V23 rye, but I've been through enough Lot B's. Saved myself $30 by doing the trade.

$30? Either the Lot B was overpriced or the V23 was cheap. Regardless, crack that rye open and let us know how it is.

Probably both, mostly the Lot B being overpriced at $80. May sound like a hassle to save $30, but much less of a headache to tell the wife $80 vs. $110. Plus she loves rye.
First thing that stood out on the taste was a sort of cocoa powder flavor on the tongue. Very nice so far, sticking to the glass like a light syrup.
