Thumbs up Buffalo Trace Appreciation Post

It's hot as hell in LA today....and so I'm just sitting here in the shade, sippin' on a variety of things - EC20, Smooth Ambler 14 yr...a couple top shelf beverages, until I poured a quick little taste of BT...and you know what, Buffalo Trace is just so.....good. It has the best mouthfeel, it's got flavor, it's smooth and wonderful....and we don't give it a lot of attention on this board...so I'm just giving a random to the BT folks..thanks for the good stuff!

It's been a while since I had the standard edition of BT, but I've had several retailer bottlings (Binny's & Khan's) that were very good. My last Binny's bottle had this great toasted marshmallow thing going on.

Nothing wrong with a standard pour of Buffalo Trace (even at 80 proof)..... In fact, I still rate it's release into the Australian market as the biggest bourbon event in this country in the last 6 years!

BT in the US is 90 proof. It has a great slot right between AAA and ELT in my heart.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

Well, I guess I can say that I like it better than Eagle Rare.

BT is a very good bourbon which is part of my monthly rotation, I decided to have a pour this evening. When comparing it to other bourbons of similar cost I tend to like WT101 better.

    I love me some BT.

One of the only 90 proofers I like.
