My whims don't know shit and are not to be trusted. This stuff is NOT good, ha. It really is so ridiculously bitter on the finish. Shame too, as the nose and initial sweetness are fairly pleasant. This one is going straight to the kitchen for sauces, marinades, etc. It's the only chance this bottle has I'm afraid.

Don't say I didn't warn you. At least it was only $15.

Think about what BT, or any distiller, will pick out to sell to an outfit like Trader Joe's at a price that allows Trader Joe's to sell it cheap and make a profit. Hint. They're not taking it from the Pappy Van Winkle pile.

Interesting. My Trader Joe's that just recently opened here in Lexington, KY only sells wine.

Actually, I can verify that the Louisville TJ's has added spirits about a month or so ago. My buddy in Lexington tells me that spirits have also appeared in the Lexington TJ's. Didn't see the bourbon when I was in the Louisville TJ's a few weeks ago, but they promised it was coming. All of their bourbon offerings were 5$-$20 above local market.
