Just to change things up a bit I think I'll have some EW 1783.

about 2 parts 4R, 1 part Cherry Marnier, 0.75 part vermouth, couple squirts orange bitters, shaken over ice, 2 Luxardo cherries

I am not sure about the cocktail, but wow that is an awesome PVD Radiomir!

Listening to Christmas music and helping the girls decorate some cookies, while sipping on the earthy goodness of a Buffalo Trace. That earthiness signature of BT is quite prevalent in this newly purchased bottle. More so, than most I've had recently. Hitting the spot quite well.

A delightful time indeed and Mac McGee proved to be an excellent place for the evenings festivities! Well worth a visit if you are in the Decatur area.

As SmokinJoe said this will have to be an annual event, maybe next year in Roswell at Mac McGees II, opening in January.

Does anyone else find the 1783 an enormous value? At only a dollar more, I find it much preferable to EW black.
