Started with JJBowman TPS # 45 earlier than usual (11:30am) to toast Mr Cox, then had some 1792 and now V17.

Oh well, there's still plenty of great bourbon whiskey in this world...Like this Heaven Hill 6 yr BIB...for the princely sum of $15. I'll live....well![]()

Having my first pour of GTS '12 on the rocks. Definitely feel that the ice greatly reduces the chalky feeling I get mid sip on the tongue while sipping neat. Anyone else prefer their Stagg this way?

Ending the weekend with Abraham Bowman 18 Year 147.5 proof.
Cheers to Truman Cox.
Started the evening with Old Grand Dad.
Having some Bookers (C04-J-19). It's good, but I like the (C05-A-12) better. After I'm going to try some Lexington Bourbon. Don't know a lot about this bourbon.
A. Bowman SB 19 year.

I just opened a 19 year Abraham Bowman as well in honor of Truman. Finished with a John J Bowman. Great stuff. Thanks Truman!
A nice pour of OGD114.
Had a bit of the Bowman Port Finished bourbon in tribute last night. Didn't know Mr. Cox but the appreciation expressed here for both his work and his personality seemed to warrant a toast.
That yella whiskey runnin' down my throat like honey dew vine water and I took another slash…
