A fistful of Eagle Rare with two cubes. I find less is more when it comes to ice with my bourbon. There are some bourbons I only drink neat, but if it is less than top shelf a little ice works better than packing out the glass with cubes.

Benchmark packs alot of flavor in this 80 proofer. Don't know what BT is shooting for in this brand but the expression I have is certainly above entry level.
Oh, the cocktails were whisky, triple sec and ginger ale which I chose to help accent the rye element.
Agreed on the Benchmark. I've only had one (family sized) bottle of it last summer, but was generally impressed considering the price point.... and dorky plastic bottle. It's not very 'enlightened' of me, but I probably would have bought it again once or twice since, if not for that plastic bottle.
