Small pour of Russell's Reserve. Not enjoying it as much as the 4RSB

Well, how can it not be McCormick's, the $7 well bourbon of the finest dive bars? Tastes like kerosene and sadness.
On to some TPS AAA, damn I wish I'd bought more of this when available. I may have shed a tear when Jay said that TPS could no longer select AAA barrels. Strangely though, I normally prefer this mashbill(AAA-ETL, I always forget the #s) to the BT-ER-GTS mashbill, but tonight I definitely preferred the CnB BT to the TPS AAA.
Sidenote, I just saw a Maker's Mark TV ad, sounds like Jimmy Fallon. "A good whisky ....is what it isn't", WTF does that mean?
Started out with a pour from a newly opened bottle of Lot B (most recent release), followed by 2002 EWSB, and finally Ritt BIB. Gotta let the Lot B open up, but it was nice. The '02 EWSB is definitely growing on me and is very tasty (have an '03 waiting in the wings). Ritt BIB is always solid.
Daaaaaaaamn, a three pour weeknight! Finished with a lot B. Getting a little more wood than usual tonight, but still very good. Lot B is one of my favorite pours, somewhere in between a daily pour and an occasion pour, but tonight I think the CnB BT #39 took the honors!
OGD 114. And, from reading some comments on this board, I guess I'm supposed to say that I wouldn't feed it to my first ex-wife.

Finishing up with some RR 1B. Enjoying it quite a bit more than I did the first go around. Getting an odd medicinal, band-aidy quality on it tonight, which I find quite enjoyable. Still probably just the one time buy for me, but hey.
A little Johnny Drum Private Stock as I finish up some paperwork. Nice flavor, again. This is a definite repeat purchase for me, when this bottle is gone. But, the thing that is impressing me as the last few minutes of daylight work through the window in my office, and filters through my whiskey glass, is that it really highlights the legs of this bourbon. Big, ol, thick, sheet of whiskey that seems in no hurry to rejoin the pool below. Dayum, that's a really nice sight...

Some Bowman Brothers and I'm looking at the bottle of OWA for next.
