What bourbon are you drinking? Winter 12/13

The newest Evan Williams SB-2003 vintage. A Binny's pick and this is barrel 7, barreled on 4/1/03 and bottled on 11/28/12. A really good sugar and maple nose. Some berry fruit (versus the EC 12 stone fruit) but HH mint/eucalyptus starts to overpower it after tasting for awhile. These barrels are from the 4th floor of the rick house across the street from the visitor center, per HH.

Last night fishnbowljoe, Wainwright and their wives were over for dinner. Joe brought Weller Centennial and ER101, Ryan some 2012 FR SmB LE (the darkside was visited as well, Balvenie Portwood 21yr, Old Pulteney 21 and Lag 16. Joe even like the Balvenie and OP ). All excellent pours. Thanks guys!
