Founders Centennial IPA and Lagunitas IPA. I'm afraid I enjoyed the former far more than the latter.

On a burning hot summer day when you're grilling up a steak and sweating far more than you'd like, Modelo hits the spot. It's a quencher and not much more, but it serves its purpose.

I've been enjoying some Anchor California Lager, which I believe is a new expression. It's right up my alley -- crisp, not too hoppy, yet still interesting. It reminds me a lot of pilsners like Czechvar.

I burned my tongue Friday night on some bacon, and that had a strongly adverse effect on my ability to enjoy bourbon last night. Fortunately, some very cold Stroh's really hit the spot.
