    New form PA

Thought I would start the New Year with an introduction, but first a big thank you for all the great info this site contains. I've been a whiskey fan for a while but didn't realize, until recently, that it's a much bigger world than Jim and Jack. Now I find myself enjoying premiums, single barrels, ryes, etc. I've also become interested in the history of American whiskey. I'll be heading to Nashville in Feb. for a few days but have built in a day for touring a few distilleries on the way thru Ky.(can't wait). Thanks again for all the great contributions from the members here( hope to also contribute as my experience increases) and wish you all a Happy New Year!

Welcome. I recomend checking out MB Roland in Pembroke if you have time. It's probably only an hour from Nashville, but not en route to any of the others. A tour there can be as little as 20 minutes, but since they're so small you get a really good feel for the process, and for some of the things they have tried.
