What if, hypothetically, you aged your whisky or new spirit between distillation runs? What would the effect be? For example, between the wash still and spirit still, you barreled your whisky for a year or however long. Would it make a difference if you aged it betwen distillation runs from pot stills? Would the distillation strip out anything the barrels would've added? Dumb question or not, it just popped in my head and I started wondering.....
