It's open to retail. BevMo and Total buy it, not sure broad market retail knows what it is, yet. I'm sure informed consumers will ask for it and they'll catch on. Even some 1.75s for the State.

It's weird because OWA & Weller 12 are $23.99 ($31.74 after taxes) while the WSR is $28.99

I never thought I would miss the State Stores, but the reality is that the selection is poorer and the prices are higher. Philosophically I think it's a good thing for the State to be out of the Business and maybe one day I will see the benefit as a consumer.
In Issaquah there is a little restaurant that has a great Bourbon selection, its the Flat Iron Grill. Not cheap, but pours that I have not seen anywhere else.

I've been meaning hit the Flat Iron but my ride buddies keep wanting to hit Hop Jacks or Final Frontier. Need to go this weekend.

Is the state still the distributor or do you have independent distributors? Iowa got out of the Liquor store business about 20 years ago but they are the only distributor in the state so nothing changed as far as selection.
