I figured it was time to start a new thread for 2013. Sooooo................., I finished off a bottle of Weller 12 today. Whad ya expect?

How did your bottle hold up with time? I found my '09 bottle's flavors went soft with time and I started to get a lot of wood and astringency. Wasn't awful, still great, but looking back I would have devoted more time up front to the bottle had I known.

just finished a black maple hill 16. i have the feeling it will be a long time before i see that one again!

I don't think it necessarily got astringent but definitely loosened up over time for my tastes. Still a great pour pour, wood never got out of control for me.

Finished up a bottle of Angel's Envy last night. Fortunately brought back another on my recent trip to Kentucky and I still have the CS to enjoy. But I look forward to the arrival of this in Georgia which hopefully will be soon. Will still probably pick up another in April when I am hopefully back in Kentucky to make sure I am covered!

Finished off an absolutely delicious bottle of Evan Williams BIB....just in time for a trip through East Tennessee next week. Going to clean out some unsuspecting package store of all the white label they have.
