Re: Empty Bottle Support Group 2013

I have to say that seeing these pics of empty FR LESmB bottles is impressive and infuriating at the same time. I've struck out in multiple states and over 40 stores looking for it. The only 2 I found were priced at $199.99 which isn't worth it to me. Glad you're all enjoying it, but I hope I can enjoy some soon too!

Saying goodbye to a FR SB LE '13. A '13 SmB isn't far behind.

2012 GTS... The bourbon (not the exact bottle) that really got me into this whole complex world.

Four Roses Small Batch, this is really one that is always in rotation.

RittBIB hit the dust today. Died a good death, went out in a Manhatten.

No, it had been open a while. I have also used that bottle to give out some samples to some people at liquor stores who have not had any before and made myself a little "time capsule" for future enjoyment. I did mistakenly say I was drinking from a 2013 bottle, but it was a 2012 bought early this year.

Come to think of it, it had been open about 8 months. Not sure if that's fast or not. How long do your bottles usually last?

I guess I got confused between your post on opening a 2013 VFWRR with your recent VWFRR acquisition (thought that was the one you had open). My bottles of Rye had been going fairly quicky... I'm on my fourth bottle of the Willett24 Rye (55%) over 3 months - I should probably slow down a little on this Rye.

Nah, I say full steam ahead . Glad to see you are enjoying it, that's why they made it. It is a great pour, I still have about 1 oz of that Willett 24 rye that a very generous SBer sent me. Great folks we have here!
