    RIP: Truman Cox

I am very sad this morning to learn of the passing of Truman Cox, Master Distiller at A. Smith Bowman, and friend to many of us. The bourbon world has lost a great young talent. Dance on, Truman. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYye1eeGoYs

We have lost a friend of the whiskey community. I'll be having a pour of AB "gift shop" and private barrel JJB 14yo later today. RIP Truman.

Very sad to hear. Never met the man, but he obviously left his mark on many. RIP Mr. Cox. Makes today's choice of pours an easy one.

I couldn't believe this thread's title when I saw it. We had just been emailing back and forth on something last week. A true loss of a fine gentleman. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Sad news. I'm glad to have a few bottles of Bowman's wonderful whiskey to enjoy into the future.
