    Hello from Iowa

Just saying hello, a couple of the forums regulars turned me onto this forum, it looks pretty sweet. I'm a huge homebrewer(10-15 gallon all grain system), with a soft spot for good bourbon and Islay Scotch. I live on the IL/IA border, working in Illinois and living in Clinton, IA. Besides beer, Lately I have been on Old Rip 107 kick along with something of an oddball non whiskey - Fernet Branca.

Welcome Brad! I'm glad to see that Ryan and I were able to talk you into coming here. Now we just have to talk you into coming to Bardstown for the Sampler

Welcome. I worked in Clinton, IA several years ago at the large plastics factory on 30. It was called Equistar then, but I think it's changed hands a number of times since 1998.

Welcome to SB Brad. I'm friends with Gary and Ryan. I'm somewhat familiar with the area you hail from. Hope you have a great time here on the site. And yes I agree with Gary and Ryan. You need to try and make it to the sampler. Cheers! Joe
