Thank you for this site. I've spent many a night at work reading through the forums. Brevity is the soul of wit, so let me just say: I'm here to make friends, drink bourbon, and learn from those who came before me. I look forward to the adventure!

Welcome aboard Balchinian, it's quite an adventure for sure. They're a few of us in the chat room most evenings, why don't you drop by and join in, the icon is located in the left hand corner of your screen.
Howdy and welcome from Michigan.
Best regards, Tony

Thanks WAINWRIGHT.I appreciate the hospitality.
welcome from another west-coaster (up I-5 from you in the Seattle area) - I love visiting your city and you've got some good whisky hunting grounds down there!
Welcome from a former San Diegan. I love the area for everything except bourbon hunting!
Howdy Balch. It's been several years since I've been to SD, but it was memorable. Great to have you.
I hear you. I wouldn't consider myself a hardcore hunter, but I've had limited success. It's definitely not virgin territory down here. Seems the edges of the County are a little better than the City proper. The only "true" dusty I've found recently were two bottles of Weller Centennial (Frankfort) for $35 each. But I still enjoy running into random liquor stores..... as my wife rolls her eyes![]()
