"To deny our own impulses is to deny the very thing that makes us human."
I've only had the one taste so far, so I won't speak on repeat purchases, but I don't regret the one buy even if I don't (immediately) think it's worth the $70. Can you tell that I'm also well on that fence? I'll post some additional notes as I get into it more. I will say again that it's very unique and quite good. Probably will make for great sipping on these hot summer days. I may even throw a lil umbrella in my Glencairn.
Presumably that would be a red umbrella.
No red in this house. UK Blue.
Go Big Blue Nation.
In that case I'm having desert first.
Still quite sweet, but much more spice tonight and am enjoying it a good bit more. Leaning towards second bottle more. More studying is in order.
Finally getting around to revisiting this a couple weeks after opening it... Still weird, it is almost like I take a sip of LDI rye and then take a sip of rum let them mingle in my mouth for a second and then swallow... I don't know if it is the rum and rye not complimenting each other or if the flavors are so different it just sends my palate in 2 separate directions? I don't know if I like it but I keep drinking it so I guess that means something?
