    Sam Houston

Any opinions on Sam Houston? I always see it in the store for $29 but always pass by for something else. Is it worth this price? Flavor? Never hear much about this one.

Several threads on this stuff. I think the consensus is that it's "okay." Nothing special, but not bad.

If I found Sam Houston on sale for $9.59 I'd still pass and choose a bottle of Evan Williams Black or even Benchmark instead.

    I completely agree with that.
I tried it once and have never been back. I've still got a pretty full bottle taking up space.

Are the Houston heirs being paid for this appropriation of the Man's name? If not what the producers are doing is disgraceful.
