Hello everyone, new to the forum and not new to bourbons but not a pro either. I'm a nuclear chemist and live in Charlotte, NC. I've been in to Scotches for about 5 years now, especially anything from the Islay region. I wasn't a huge whiskey drinker but started trying some American crafts like Stranahans, St. George and Lion's Pride with a few buddies. Then 12 of us started a whiskey club and each month there's a different style (American craft, Rye, Bourbon, Scotch regions etc) and we taste 4-5 samples and post our reviews to a blog we started. The club has really gotten me into bourbons and my collection is quickly growing and will continue to grow as I find more to try. Thanks for everything and it's good to be here.
