nose- peat smoke and cherry up are prevalent, malty.
taste- light in the mouth, barley sweetness. even though the mouth feel is light, the cherry and peat smoke builds towards the end of the sip. the beechwood smoke flavor bounces in and out giving a nod towards the smoky flavor of artisanal bacon.
finish- peat and cherry
i like it a lot. it's a very good pour to switch up from bourbon. it's not scotch but it's not trying to be.
