    Have been alternating through the lower end of the spectrum lately,Willett 4yr.,Ritt BIB and Baby Saz all great for the money,all so very different and most enjoyable.

    Enjoying a pour of baby saz. The nose is nice--like the citrus/orange note--and the very dry finish is interesting. Very much agree with wainwright.

    Started the evening off with a healthy pour of Angels Envy rye... Still dont' know what to think of it.. The rum and rye mingling got the old gears grinding in my head and lo and behold I had a bottle of V21 sitting next to a Zaya 12 yr rum on my bar.. I mixed 1/3 Zaya with 2/3 V21 and the results are delicious. The woodiness of the V21 offsets the sweetness of the rum. It is a bit difficult to pour rum into an overaged rye but I like the results so much I think I might try this again

    That sounds really interesting. I need to be more experimental about vatting. I always think the mixes posted here sound great but rarely try anything on my own.

    First mix I have ever tried, I get skiddish every time I envision what would mingle well together and don't try it....hopefully this will be the success I need to start trying different combos

    Started with the second-to-the-last pour of WTR101. It's lost most of it's floral sweetness and pepper, but what's left is just good and long - I don't want to let go of the finish. I do, 5 minutes later, tho. On to a middle pour of Dickel Rye, still sweet and fruity throughout, with stick-out-your-tongue pepper mid-palate. Since Dickel is still on the shelves, I'll buy more (Only have a single back-up bottle).

    Went the Dickel route myself last night after killing off the remainder of a bottle of Dixie Dew. I definitely enjoy the Dickel Rye and the price suits me fine.

    Drinking some High West 12 year old that I was surprised to find in a bar tonight. Delicious, that little 375ml bottle might be a bit lower by the time I leave.
