    World's Greatest Boilermaker

My friends and I set out to make the world's best boilermaker this past weekend. I think we succeeded.

Well we hinted at the sequel. King Henry/PVW 23. King Henry was a barleywine that Goose Island put into the PVW 23 barrels after the bourbon county rare came out. I actually like it a lot better than the bourbon county rare. I also have a Fifty fifty eclipse imperial stout that was aged in a 4 Roses barrel and a pretty good batch of 4 roses single barrel that would make a fun combo as well. Hopefully you can make that.

Just to warn you Brad.....if you invite Ryan over for the King Henry/PVW23 combo, watch out. He'll want the Pappy in the rocks glass and the beer in the shot glass.

    World's Greatest Boilermaker

I must say, I think this is awful. Just awful. I wouldn't go as far as to pour it down the drain, but really you might as well. Shame. Shame on you. Be ashamed.

I'm mostly upset about the waste of beer.

    Well, the idea has merit.

    Interesting video.

Post the King Henry one here when you do it. I want to see if Adam pours that one down the drain too.
He made himself another drink and thought how much better the Perrier was than anything else you could put in whisky... Hemingway

His name is Aaron, not Adam, Adam. I mean Alden. I mean... I need a drink.
