Check that, I do have confirmation that it's not Ugly Dog. I exchanged FB messages with one of the proprietors and he confirmed that it was made by a producer outside of Michigan but in the Midwest, but they hope to begin distilling soon.

Ugly Dog has an interesting description of "multiple methods of enzymatic hydrolization" on their website. Presumably they found one that worked.
Ugly Dog only do vodka as far as I can see. They have a bacon flavored one.
Yeah I noticed, wonder how many experiments it took to come up with that one.
I mean vodka is the only spirit they product that I have seen. I'm positive they do bottling. They're actually not too far from Oscar. Maybe he can check out their operation. On the bacon topic, I did once bring a bacon-infused Old Fitz BiB to the gazebo once. Not very popular.
Josh it seems odd to me the web site describes their work in gobbleyspeak emphasizing a commitment to quality and the product chosen to showcase this commitment is a bacon flavored mixer from an owner who says he dislikes flavored spirits.
Yeah, my eyes began to glaze over very quickly when looking at that site. I agree that it's odd but on the other hand it's similar to the other gobbleyspeak everybody else uses.
