Who was it, Frank Sinatra? Said he wanted to be buried with a pack of smokes and a bottle of Jack Daniels.

According to his daughter Tina it was Camels, and a Zippo lighter.

Well Zippo's are guaranteed to last forever which just happens to be how long the afterlife lasts

I'm sitting here enjoying some MM. Around here it's $25 @ 750ml. I feel like some sort of tipping point has been reached. I used to think OWA was better, but not now. I'm talking about what's currently available, where it is. It's all relative.

Shortage? My guess is that there is no shortage, but that they overextended themselves. When you sign contracts to put so many cases in every Sam's and Walmart it is easy to get behind in production, especially since their product requires years of aging.

    maybe.

I was in Sams the other day and there was literally a pallet full of 1.75's of MM.

I briefly saw shelves cleared of it in the summer, but it is everywhere here again.

I never buy any of it though, as it is priced in line with things I prefer more anyway

Except the three tier system does not allow for price negotiation directly with producers.

It's crazy that MM may be the only wheater I can procure. The only positive I can try to take from all this is that possibly, just maybe, the big decision-makers in Kentucky will finally take Wheaters seriously, and increase production and increase expressions. Are you listening?

Not trying to take away from rye-recipe, Squire, which I also love, I just wanna see good planning for all types.
