Yeah, that's sourced, or if they're making it for sure it's young.

What bourbon are you drinking? Summer 2013

Old Ezra 7/101. I read an old post that said about it "this is what WT101 should be, or at least what it was." May have to take it to the limit tonight by doing a side by side with some WT8 and WT #8 and the OE7.

Nice pour of HH 6-Year BIB. A solid bourbon at only $9.99 per bottle. Followed up with a decent pour of WR. It was from a bottle that was gifted to me. So, assuming that my pour of HH was 4 oz., I paid about $1.60 for two solid pours.

What bourbon are you drinking? Summer 2013

Three OBSKs tonight. 9 year, 5 month, 122.2 proof; 10 year, 2 month, 111 proof; 2013 1BLE, 120.8 proof. Drank 'em blind, hard to pick a winner.

I was pretty sure it was sourced, it just claims to be Texas whiskey. Either way it is not very good neat, and only Ok mixed.

Had some ER 17, EC 12, and Blantons.

Found a restaurant in Monterey that had ER17, GTS, THH, PVW15, vw10/107, LotB, PHC 10 year, willet 20 year, high west 21, and many many more (said they had pvw20 and 23 although i didn't see it on the bar)

prices were definitely high for a shot.

    er17- $20
    gts-$30
    pvw15-$32 (if i recall correctly)
    pvw23-$60
    ec12-$9

in that order; neat. fruity, smooth, rich. those are my first impressions. I enjoyed them all.

Unwinding after a long day with a Charter 101. It does have a young grain taste but it balances with the light wood and slight heat from the alcohol. Very good stuff for the price. Too bad we don't get it in Hawaii.

I hadn't been on the bike in a while, so decided I'd take a spin on my medium course. I should have limited it to a ride to the mailbox, and back. Kicked my arse. If you ain't right, the hills of Georgia will make you pay...as I did today. So, after an ice gold Corona, I'm starting my blood doping with a BT and Ale-8-One in a big ol' Tumbler chock-full-o ice...
