On my last drink of Elmer t lee gold wax bottle. Thank you Smknjoe! Great stuff! I do have a bottle for the bunker back home thankfully!
Some Weller 12 neat from a Glencairn.
Typically, only drink on the weekends, so finishing off this weekend albeit lightly with a few smaller pours in my Buffalo Trace tasting glass. A little Blanton's followed by FRSB. Both, neat of course! Just wanting a taste and to savor the flavor.
Bulleit 10 yr - haven't had this in awhile and the air has really rounded off a sharp edge or two. Much more body mid-palate.
Are there any discernable Four Roses notes in that whiskey, sutton? I've never been the hugest Bulleit fan but I really like Four Roses so I'm wondering if I'd like the Bulleit 10. I haven't heard the greatest things, nice to see a little airtime is bringing it together.

VOB BIB, waiting for Breaking Bad to start.
The question is price - at $47-$50, you can get your pick of the Four Roses' recipes from TPS and I have been looking those over. I actually bought this Bulleit bottle on impulse as it seemed like a quick way for me to get my hands on a 10-yr to try. To me, it is a big improvement over the standard Bulleit.
