What bourbon are you drinking? Summer 2013

Revisiting a bottle of WR I forgot I had under the bar. I was on a heavy rye kick for awhile last year and thought it tasted bland. Still love me a good aged rye but the Woodford is tasting good tonight. So good I emptied the bottle. Cheers!

BMH, almost thru the bottle. Still amazed how much the profile changes over a matter of a few weeks of air.

A bit of Rare Breed W-T-02-91, it tastes like barrel proof WT8..

Nice! I think I'll go finish my 99 so I can get started on some of that. Have you opened the 99 yet? Judging by color alone I have a feeling the 99 might be a little milder than the 91.
I've never tried GTS with any sort of soda. Maybe I'm missing out; but I'm OK with that.

yip. ive noticed i dont care much for opening an OGD 114 and taking a pour. but if i buy it, open it and leave it open for a day, and then take a pour, its quite enjoyable. just one day and that much difference.

The 99 won't get opened for a while, I have 30+ open bottles so I need to empty a few first...

The viscosity of the 91 is amazing, after I take a sip out of the Glencairn I just watch it slowly slide down the side of the glass. Amazing pour!!
