Flipside is just like they advertise - perfect for a warm fall afternoon.

Me - Full Sail LTD 07, Oktoberfest. I've found Sam Adams Octoberfest went downhill a few years ago and finally found one that fills the void.

Goose Island has stepped in with a tasty new Oktoberfest to fill the void of tasty, fairly priced kinda-macro-craft-ish fall lager. It bested the seasonal offerings from Berghoff and Left Hand that I drank it against yesterday.

Steve, is the GI Octoberfest a replacement for the Harvest Ale? Or, an addition?
    Thanks.

which brings me back to something I've said since I moved to Utah: too bad I can't get Goose Island in Utah. I loved me some Goose Island and Great Lakes when living in Ohio.

Good question -- according to the GI website, Harvest Ale is still being released this fall, and a thread on Beer Advocate indicates that both Harvest and Oktoberfest are out there in fresh form. I'm not a big GI drinker outside of Bourbon County, so you may need to trust but verify.

Southern Tier Pumking. FINALLY. This is the one so far. The nose is more graham cracker crust than pumpkin. Not the least bit cloying. Good spice and hides its alcohol well. Very nice!
