Re: GQ - The New Whiskey Rebellion

Actually I was referring to the literal AARP magazine that every member receives, and I found an article! Here are some summer drinks in easily digestible list form http://www.aarp.org/food/recipes/inf...il-drinks.html

Re: GQ - The New Whiskey Rebellion

The problem with most of these articles is that the factual basis isn't a whole lot worse than many (not all) of the distillery tour guides. We do have a thread about that, and I've heard some pretty crazy stuff there as well. Like the final filtration being done to remove remaning grains that somehow survived evaporation and condensation.

I'm tempted to ask them if the oats swell up in the still just to get their response.

I second Joe's suggestion of a dedicated thread to post these in. Maybe once a quarter or a year we can do a poll for which article contains more inaccuracies than the rest, and present them with a prestigious "Don't Know Shit About Bourbon" award

It's a bitch getting old. In my house, if somebody gets an erection that lasts more than four hours, we celebrate.
If God made anything better than bourbon he must have kept it for Hisself.
