But what about the 80 proof? I would be a little worried to if I couldn't get the 114 after the 86 went to 80 proof.

In Indiana we don't have this problem but I would suspect that most controlled states would carry either OGD BIB or 114. For those in controlled states, is this generally true?

In Michigan we have the 80 and 114 available, no BIB.

I always thought Oregon only got the 80 and the BIB, both because I've never seen it and because its not on the price list. Walking around in the capitol I stopped in a liquor store and voila! OGD114!

So I guess we get it here. I'm glad to know this, I've been holding on to the last few drops I brought back from Arizona.

Rodger that Fox. I don't care for the OGD BiB. The closer to barrel proof the better for me typically.

I was just in the upper peninsula and saw BiB OGD, in Sault Ste Marie anyway.

I had checked the State of Michigan Liquor Commission list on their website for straight bourbons and the BIB was not listed as available. I suppose it could have been listed at an earlier date and that was a left-over bottle? They list 6 different sizes available of the 80 proof, but only 1 (750) of the 114 proof.

Beats me man. It's a good thing it's beautiful country up there because isn't much else. All I can tell you is next time I go there I'm bringing a mobile liquor cabinet of some sort.

I'm concerned we may be seeing the future of 80 proofers as standard and stuff like 114 being a much higher priced specialty.
