    Greetings from London, Ontario

    Hello Straight Bourbon users...

I am excited to join. I have been a whisky drinker for years, primarily Scotch, Irish, Canadian with dabbles into US, and Asian whiskies...I have used this site as a resource in the past to see what others thought of the occassional Bourbon that I came across.

    Now however, things have changed.

After a recent trip to Kentucky and Tennessee, with a few visits to distilleries...Bourbon is all I can think of, all I want to buy. Looking forward to learning from all of you, and maybe I will even meet some fellow Ontarioans who are super excited about Bourban, Rye, and American Whiskey.

    Cheers!

    Sean.

Hello Sean. Welcome to the board! Have fun exploring and commenting on our favorite spirits... Bourbon, of course; but also Rye and other spirits.
I look forward to the view from the Country immediately South of me. Ha-Ha!
I'm in the Detroit area, so Canada IS South of me, by a small tilt of the compass, anyway.
I've been thru London several times on the good old 401. How's Bourbon availability up there?

    Welcome.
Nice to see another Canuck around here.

    I feel your pain re: those prices ... a few others: BT $40, ER10 $48, EC12 $40, EWSB $50, JBblack $29, OGD 80proof $34, Ritt BIB $40, Saz $50, WLW12 $45, WT 81 $30

The only things we seem to get at fairly reasonable prices BTAC ~$100 (though in very very very short supply)

    Welcome aboard Sean.
I have been to London and it's a great town.
I think it was 1993 when the Detroit Tigers had a AA team there we went to see a certain up and coming can't miss prospect play but wasn't in the line up that day.
All was not lost however as we had dinner at Three Men And A Pizza, best bruschetta ever.
I have always gotten the best Italian food in Canada, London, Toronto and Windsor have excellent Itailian resturants.
But I am way way way off topic here.
    Cheers and again, welcome.
