    1) - Four Roses

    2) - Buffalo Trace

It's BT's quality Rye selections that mad them the pick for #2. If 4R made a rye they would be the pick for both.

Four Roses. I'm torn between BT and HH after that.

    Pick a bottle, any bottle...

I'll jump on the 1) Four Roses/2) Heaven Hill bandwagon.

I could easily name Barton or Grand Dad, pretty much all I drink anyway, but if I were to set a year long project using the products of just one distillery it would be Four Roses as I think they have some of the most interesting stuff on the market.

For me it's a virtual dead heat 'tween Heaven Hill and Buffalo Trace. Either one could sustain life as we know it.

I sure don't like this trend, unless Four Roses can keep up the supply without sacrificing value. When Squire deigns to give them the nod, even deservedly, I start worrying.

There's always something to worry about, my policy is relax and have a drink.

I will only start to worry when squire starts his own website and blog. Then 4R may go the way of the pappy.
