I honestly forget the proof is that low when I drink it.

Really love the AAA10star and have never had the 10 yr, the only sub 90 I've enjoyed so far is 4rYL but that might be to my lack of experience, nah I prefer the 100+

Dang it!!!! I keep meaning to pick up the 10 Star based on your reviews, but always forget. I will change that shortly, though. To the OP, I too, have have found the 10 year to been very meh to me over the last couple of bottles. But, I could be a burnout...

Did a side-by-side with AAA10yr and EWSB (forget which year) a while back since both are 10yr and almost identical proof. EWSB came out ahead, but just barely and confirmed for me what a great value AAA10yr is. True, AAA10yr might not be the most complex bourbon out there, but it has to be the one of the all time best every day pours.

AAA10yr is an easy sipper and a great value pour IMO. It's on my buy list when in KY.

I have recently really enjoyed VOB 86proof. For my palate, I haven't come across an 86 proofer that taste better than this VOB yet. Granted I haven't tried AAA10yr but I have tried many different releases of EWSB.

I like it. As noted, it has the same mashbill as RHF and Blanton's. I believe Age International also markets Blanton's. Anyway, it is solid for the price but would be even better if were a little higher in proof. I know Ancient Age has a NAS 90 proof but I have never tried it.

Triple A Ten is a high grade round stone blue collar Bourbon that's still a terrific value.

My wife an I think AAA is the Black Box wine of bourbons--wonderful everyday drink at an outstanding price.

Definitely a favorite budget bourbon, I just wish it had a little more body to it. Planning on picking up a couple more next month while at the KBF
