I drink what I kill, and since it's always hunting season, well then by gosh it's always whisky season!

Had a little Glenfiddich 18 earlier in the evening. May pour myself something else in a little bit, like maybe some Glenmorangie Finealta.

Damn fine stuff...it's got an effervescence about it. Now, to find a bottle...

Last night I cracked open some JW Blue I picked up at duty free. Smooth but not all that impressive for the money. I had some JW Gold 18 afterwards to compare and I like it better. Still my favorite blend.
    Whisk(e)y - a bargain at any price !!!

If you haven't already tried it, you might find the 15yo Green even better than the gold.

Agreed. It is my favorite of the (former) lineup and the only vatted malt. Luckily, it still seems to be around.

Aberlour A'Bunadh - on my first bottle and really enjoying it. Haven't really had Scotch in over a year.

Drinking some Dewars 12 out of a paper hotel cup... and it's ok. It's funny, I know that taste can change based on mood, food consumed, what side of the bed you woke up on, etc... but I'll say it for Glencarin, no whiskey tastes as good as when sipping from those glasses, at least in my opinion. The previous Dewars 12 I had at home was quite a nice dram for the price. This one has fallen somewhat flat.
