Re: What Wee Dram Are You Enjoying Now - Fall 2013/Winter 2014

I'm having a wee dram of Glenmorangie Nectar d'or right now before taking Mrs. Power to White Castle for a romantic evening. It's a castle, so it's good enough for royalty, right?

Same here with my new Laphroaig Qtr Cask waiting in the wings for the new year to arrive....but, no castle here....Papa Johns brought a late dinner after the kids stranded the old folks at home for the evening.

'Laddie Rocks before dinner to get the palate salty. Afterwards, it's going to be a long slow dram of my new year's fav from much earlier today: Laphroaig Qtr Cask

Did they do a 2013 version? I have the 2012 but can't remember seeing one from last year.

For myself I had a great Springbank flight from a local spot that does half pours.

    Springbank 9, 4 + 5 years in Gaja Barolo
    Springbank 12, 6 + 6 years in Calvados
Longrow 11 IB from Rundlets and Kilderkins.

My favorite was the Calvados 12 and my wifes was the Longrow.
