Wee has not been part of the vocabulary, during my assault of everything Irish these last coupla days. . BigRich started it off with his Irish WhiskeyFest on Saturday, and tonight it's a rotation of PJL, Knappogue 92, and RB Cask Strength. I just need somebody to loan me $200+, so I can get one of those gorgeous Midleton Barry Crickett Legacy's that Bruce shared. Faith and Begorrah, that is an awesome Irish whiskey!

Aberlour A'bunadh tonight... Really sweet with no afterburn, high power bourbon must have had something to do with that!

Harp with dinner followed by a three finger pour of RB12. Happy St Paddy's day folks!
Had a couple nice drinks earlier. One an AD Rattray Clynelish 16 year from K&L (lovely), and then a bit of Laphroaig Cairdeas Portwood (meh, not sure why people have been going nuts over this on reddit).
Closing out the night with a small pour from a new bottle, a Bowmore 1996/2013 single cask from K&L under their value oriented Faultline label. Refill sherry, barrel 960069 at 52% ABV.
Fairly subtle nose, but with noticeable peat smoke. Took a couple minutes to open up after pouring. Straightforward, though a little boring on the palate. Barely there sherry notes, but sweet enough to offset the peat. Very nice to sip and enjoy, but nothing I would go out of my way to track down.
All that Ardbeg 10yr chatter caused me to pour a glass from a 2003 10yr. Such awesome stuff. More citrusy, slightly lighter and less charry than the recent releases. Then it was on to the 2010 Lag 12 CS...too good.
Opened a Glenmorangie 10 last night, and proceeded to kill about a third of the bottle. Way too drinkable.
That yella whiskey runnin' down my throat like honey dew vine water and I took another slash…
