Definitely, man! There are several things that others rave about that I really don't like and vice versa. I might have bought a case or two of something I don't like if I hadn't tried it first.

I've never tried GTS with any sort of soda. Maybe I'm missing out; but I'm OK with that.

I know you didn't direct this at me Joe, but I'm always down for sample trades.

    Any time Johnny.

Edit: but I'm out of sample bottles at the moment. Guess I need to break down and order some.

Drawing a bead on finally finishing this week up tomorrow, with a good and deep pour of the '13 4RSmBLE. Possibly, the heaviest, thickest, and fullest whiskey of any 4R I've had, to date. Wonderfully viscous and coating.

You are one who I normally agree with Joe...I need to do some investigating of my own. I'll be back after I'm good and lit.

Started with Old Ezra 7yr, then followed by some Ritt 354.

Hey Joe, you ever get around to that OESO PS Four Roses? Be keen to hear your thoughts. I'm getting into a 7 yr, 120 proof bottle of WFE from DC named the French Connection. When I opened this bottle it was all red hots and cinnamon, but a few months later it's a lot creamier and sweeter, much better balance. I think this is the best evidence I've encountered yet of airtime improving a pour. I think the last drops of a WFE20 might be next.

    that sounds awesome!

i got tired of looking at the 375 of JB black thats been on the shelf forever, so i opened it up tonight. only had this once before, and i see why. Maybe if it was 100-105 proof it'd be good. I bought it to give to someone but they had quit drinking. doh!

I haven't cracked it yet, but I will open it as soon as spot opens up on the shelf here in the next couple of days and let you know. I can't wait really since it's my first E mashbill.

Nice pour of Ritt BIB/OGD 114 blend. 2:1 rye to bourbon. Normally, use the inverse. Nice change. Followed by a nice pour of OC10.
