    Very good report. Yes, all Bourbons have a majority (more than 51%) of corn, most are over 70%. The rye adds the spice and hovers around 15% so more than that gets into higher rye mash territory.

    Getting smashed and riding ATVs. Sage advice. :/ At least it will keep Kristin well stocked in brain injury patients. Future secured.

    Sounds like it was a great time. Glad you enjoyed yourself. I think you have confused bourbon that uses rye as the secondary grain (as opposed to wheat) with rye whiskey. Bulleit Rye and Whistle Pig are both rye whiskey, not bourbon. I have seen this confusion quite a bit on other "enthusiast" sites.
    I've never tried GTS with any sort of soda. Maybe I'm missing out; but I'm OK with that.

    Thanks for clarifying! I'm a mess, haha. Bottom line, for people like me, WhiskyFest is a tremendous opportunity to try a bunch of stuff and figure out why I liked it after the fact.
