passed on a 750ml of High West 21 for $169.99 in the crazy reflective colorful glass bottle. I think I might go back and get it here in a few days.

and at another store, which I am pretty depressed about as he has had reasonable prices for a while....
    High West 16 at $199.99
    Vintage 17 at $199.99
    13' Stagg at $229.99

Might get the WT Tradition at a reasonable $129.99 though

Were you in northern KY by chance?

Really don't understand that. If you're keeping them for a lottery or for VIP customers, just keep em under the counter or in a back office. All this is gonna do is piss people off.

Tons of locals have heard this story and asked that exact question. I suppose Liquor City has a reputation?

I actually kinda like the idea, but I've heard a few ppl who said "I'll take them all" only for them to say "you'll take none."

Only recently. I think most of us had the exact same thing happen to us that you did in regards to these bottles. And they still have good stuff on the shelf that is for sale. But not that long ago that you could walk in and actually get some VW right off the shelf. At least the prices on these bottles were reasonable for whoever wins the right but yeah, just keep em in back for crying out loud.
