    Hello from Boise

Well I stumbled on this site a while back while looking for some info on some old bottles and I guess it got the better of me because I keep coming back and trying some of the names that seem to come up again and again. While the state run liquor stores here don't have the best selection I've managed to start four new bottles since I joined last month. Looking forward to the journey.

Welcome to the site. Winter is coming soon to Idaho, be sure to stash a couple bottles for the snow days!

Welcome from Georgia! What four did you begin your journey with?

Hi Thunder! Welcome from a Michigander. I like your attitude; "looking forward to the journey"; for it is indeed a lovely trip, if you let it be so. Have FUN! That's the main thing (IMHO).

I've had a number of the well know ones such as Beam & Makers but the four news ones I've tried since coming on here are Old Grand Dad 100, Old Weller 107, Four Roses Single Barrel & Elijah Craig 12. EC might be my favorite of the bunch but I've had just a couple samplings of each so far so that may change.

Nice variety! Got some representation from the rye and wheater side! The journey is the fun part - I'll bet my "favorite" has changed every couple of months (sometimes reverting to things I've tried, sometimes something new). As long as you're having fun, you're doing it right!
