1st post from a new NY member

New member here from New York (I work in NYC and live in Rockland County). I have been reading and enjoying this site for a while now, but have never posted anything. I would like to thank all of the knowledgeable folks here who have helped to educate me on bourbon related matters and have pushed a mild interest into a full blown hobby.

Over the past few years I have tasted through most of the currently for sale bourbons and have enjoyed the exploration as much as (if not more than) the individual drinks. Four Roses has been a favorite of mine. The people there (Mr. Rutledge in particular) have been incredibly warm and generous to me and their barrel program has yielded some real gems. Their limited edition small batch is one of the only fall releases that I still pursue. I also like the three bourbons form the BT high rye line. I think that E T Lee is superb for its price and Blantons was the first bourbon that I tasted and liked. Balcones is my favorite micro or craft distillery. I try to always have a True Blue, Rumble Cask Reserve, and Brimstone on hand. The Brimstone Resurrection totally blew me away. So different and awesome at the same time.

Thank you all for the welcome!
